Who is God?
God is Omniscient (Psalm 147:4/ Act 15:18)
In order to better understand who God is we need to mediate on His Characteristics which are traditionally called Attributes.
The first Attribute I would like to share is: God is Omniscient – Which means that God knows everything, literally. This includes things that have happened, things that are happening as well as things that will happen. This is really something to consider in that, unlike human beings who forget the past and don’t know the future, God is ever present knowing all Things. While we are living life on earth and praying to God about situations and such, He already knows the outcome, nothing catches Him by surprise. Because He is Omniscient He is already behind the scenes working all things together for the Good.
Another thing to ponder is that in His Omniscience He knows everything about us. He knows our good, bad and ugly. In other words we can’t fool Him. He looks on the heart and not at our actions purse. The reason for this is because we can look genuine on the outside but be truly false on the inside and with God it starts on the inside.
I thank God for His Omniscience, it was because of His Omniscience that He knew when He created us that we would need a Savior and that’s why He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins.

Faith in God
1 Peter 5:7
Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.
I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn't fragile like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid.
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ.
I waited patiently for God to help me; then He listened and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out from the bog and the mire, and set my feet on a hard, firm path and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, of praises to our God. Now many will hear of the glorious things He did for me, and stand in awe before the Lord, and put their trust in Him.
Hebrews 10:35-38Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward! You need to keep on patiently doing God's will if you want Him to do for you all that He has promised. His coming will not be delayed much longer. And those whose faith has made them good in God's sight must live by faith, trusting Him in everything. Otherwise, if they shrink back, God will have no pleasure in them.
Requirements Of Waiting
Waiting for God's timing is neither passive nor idle--it takes discipline and commitment. Basic requirements for successful waiting.Faith. The Lord's ways and timing are nothing like ours (Isa. 55:8-9). From a human standpoint, He usually does things in a totally different way than we expect. But as we trust Him more, we'll discover that His approach isn't so strange after all. And when we live in harmony with God's will, His timing starts to make sense.
Humility. To wait for the Lord, you must be convinced of your need for Him. Submission to His divine will requires humility--you cannot charge ahead with your own plans and at the same time be fully surrendered to God.
Patience. Are you willing to remain in your current position until you receive clear divine direction? Pausing for clarity from God does not mean that you disengage and allow circumstances to fall apart around you. Waiting upon the Lord is a deliberate decision that requires patience.
Courage. Waiting for God often takes courage, especially when there is pressure to act. If you're not careful, you might stop listening to the Lord and follow other advice. So keep your ear attuned to the voice of Almighty God, and you won t go wrong.
Waiting upon the Lord is one of the wisest, most important decisions we make in life. And contrary to popular assumptions, it is an active endeavor that requires faith, humility, patience, and courage. When you rely upon God and wait for His timing, the various facets of life fall into place.
